Group Coaching

We will shortly be announcing a programme of Group Coaching in a relaxed and social environment for players to learn together, enabling you to get started in golf or enhance your existing skills. This 6 Week Development Programme will run evenings & weekends throughout the year and each session will last approx. 1 hour.

These sessions will cover:

• The correct set up
• The Swing
• Driving the ball
• Chipping & Putting
• Practice on the golf course

B.Membership Subscriptions

1.Charterhouse Pupils-Term Time -NIL
2. Charterhouse Pupils – School Holidays -£27 per annum

2/3/4 Employees and Retired Employees
(a) Employee – £55 per annum
(b) Retired Employee -£144 per annum (£12.00 per month)
(c) Spouse or dependent of an employee or retired employee living under the same roof £144.00 per annum
5.OCGS Members -£144.00 per annum (£12.00 per month)

6.Friends of Charterhouse being persons closely associated with, and supportive of, the School£342.00 per annum or £28.50 per month

7.OC Membership- £180 per annum or£15.00 per month

8.Honorary Members as determined by the Golf Committee NIL

9.Youth Membership Age 11 – 15 is £162 per annum or £13.50 per month ** Conditions apply

C. Guests (up to 3 per Member on any one occasion)

Green Fees – Age 16 and above are £12 per day per person
– Juniors under 16 are £5
– Guests of a pupil playing in term-time are Free
and being members of the pupil’s family
– Guests of a pupil playing during School holidays are £12 per day per person

** A youth member must be the child of a Charterhouse Club or Golf Club member.
Youth members are restricted to one paying guest only.

Charterhouse Golf Club

The Halford Hewitt Golf Course is a 9-hole, par 34 course occupying approximately 30 acres of the Charterhouse campus overlooking the outstanding natural beauty of the Surrey Hills. Named after former pupil, Halford Hewitt, a distinguished Barrister and keen amateur golfer, the course was opened on Saturday July 2nd 1988 by Denis Thatcher MBE, TD.
